John, I never saw your site until today. I'm trying to understand this, but the truth is I can't. Maybe I'm not supposed to? I've been running my site since 1996. First 4 years were with my ISP, but then I moved it to a US-based host. I've just moved it again to another US-based host.

My impression (after some checking) is that Irish hosting companies are no where near the US companies when it comes to what value for money. What would (or at least could) entice me to an Irish company is much better customer support. I find dealing with US companies (and their unresponsiveness or E. European techies) very difficult.

Do you think Irish companies will try to market their customer support or will it be a rush to be the cheapest (which I love, but once below $200 per year I'd pay a few extra $ for better support).
