ICANN Rejects .xxx TLD

ICANN voted against giving the go-ahead for the new porn TLD .xxx yesterday. The vote was 9 to 5. The theory behind .xxx is that it would be a TLD to where the porn sites could be banished. It would be simplistic to think that all porn sites would be removed from the main gTLDs and other ccTLDs to the .xxx.
