It changes the WHOIS but leaves the domains active. It also apparently applies it to domains that have ADRs pending.</description>

					<description>EURid still has to take action against the hundreds of other bogus registrars. Ovidio Limited was a very blatent cybersquatter operation and it will be interesting to see what EURid does. 

As of today, Ovidio's  .eu domains are still resolving so obviously the smurfs in EURid have a different definition of "ON HOLD".

Some of the other bogus registrar operations have been keeping a low profile by not having any DNS associated with the domains they are squatting.</description>
