Some registrars are probably automatically deleting unwanted .eu domains. Others might avail of the 40 day quarantine period which is in the DNS.be/Eurid system and leave the domains lapse naturally. Eitherway, based on the number of domains mapped here, there has been a gradual falloff in registrations. But every major gTLD landrush is followed by a crash as the junk domains are cleared out of the system. Unfortunately the management of Eurid, the European Commission and its "expert" advisors can't be removed in such a market adjustment. Yep Michele,
